Professor Jose Wendell P. Capili earned his degrees from the University of Santo Tomas (UST), University of the Philippines (UP), University of Tokyo, University of Cambridge, and The Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies (now School of Culture, History & Language, College of Asia and the Pacific) at the Australian National University. He is Professor of English, Creative Writing and Comparative Literature, UP Diliman and the Assistant Vice President for Public Affairs and Director, Office of Alumni Relations, University of the Philippines System.

He has published 7 books and over articles in Asia, Europe, North America and Australia. He received the Carlos Palanca and Cultural Center of the Philippines for Literature as well as scholarships, grants, and fellowships from the Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Singaporean, Hong Kong, Philippine, Australian, and British governments.

Biography

Jose Wendell P.
