    I have always been a very artistic individ so after my schooling at Modern High School in stad i indien, I studied English Honours in St. Xavier’s for one year and then shifted to Rabindra Bharati University with Drama Hons. and mass communication from where inom completed graduation and masters, I had started to excel in studies, and extra curricular from my school life.

     

    Why Moubani wanted to be an actor?

    I always knew that arts would be my life, but when I went to St.Xavier’s, the rulle studies classes made me realise what I was cut out for, inom was already in the show business atmosphere being a part of the world famous Sorcar family, and Magician P.C. Sorcar junior and Joysri Sorcar’s daughter, but as inom started reading scripts from books in the book fair and offers were pouring

    P. C. Sorcar Jr. (formal name Prodip Chandra Sorcar; born 31 July 1946[1]) is an Indian magician based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He is the second son of Indian magician P. C. Sorcar. He is also the recipient of Merlin Award in Magic.[2]

    He holds a doctorate degree in applied psychology from the University of Calcutta,[3] and holds the record of being the highest individual foreign exchange earner in entertainment.[1]

    Sorcar contested the 2014 Indian general election from Barasat (Lok Sabha constituency) as the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate and lost to Dr. Kakali Ghosh Dastidar of Trinamool Congress.[4][5]

    His elder brother Prafulla is an Electrical Engineer and younger brother Provas is a commercial pilot. He lost his father, Padma Shri award-winner Protul Chandra Sorcar (P.C. Sorcar Sr.) at the age of 58 due to a massive heart attack in Japan.

    Mumtaz Sorcar is an Indian actress who has grown up in a family of famous performers. Being the daughter of a world famous magician P.C.Sorcar Jr and grand daughter of the Indian legendary P.C.Sorcar, people have always expected Mumtaz to follow her family's legacy.
