MP’s death fears heighten as his personal assistant is abducted

Imenti Central MP Gitobu Imanyara, who on Tuesday spoke of threats on his life, told Parliament his personal assistant had been abducted on his way home.
Mr Imanyara, who stood after Internal Security Minister George Saitoti had given a statement assuring him and other members of their security, told the House his PA, who lives in Kasarani was accosted by two men who identified themselves as police officers.
