Rick McCrank (born January 23, ) is a Canadian professional skateboarder and co-owner of Momentum Wheels.
Early lifeEdit
McCrank was born in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, but grew up in Ottawa, Canada. McCrank is a high school dropout who was sponsored by local skate shops when he decided education wasn't important.
Professional skateboardingEdit
McCrank's first-ever skateboard deck sponsor was a small Canadian brand called Cherry Bombs. He then joined the first incarnation of Plan B Skateboards, when he was discovered by professional skateboarder, Colin McKay, after a brief period with Tony Hawk's Birdhouse company.[1] He was assigned professional status by the company in the late s.
