    Mooky Cornish has performed all over the world as a clown and actress but when she decided to return to Canada to develop a television series, she knew exactly where she would be based — Regina.

    Yes, you read that right — Regina, not Vancouver or Toronto or any other major media market in Canada. Cornish, who will be performing The Glories of Gloria Revue on June 3 and 4 at The Artesian, denies the location was determined by throwing a dart at a map of Canada. Originally from Cumberland, Ont., Cornish had specific reasons for moving to Regina to chase her television dreams.

    I was born in Belfast on 6th August The son of Cal McCrystal, the journalist and author, and Stella McCrystal, a social worker. Two younger brothers are Damien, a media consultant, and Kieran, a lecturer and counsellor.

    My family moved to London in where my father became chief reporter for the Sunday Times. I attended Moss Hall School, Finchley. In my family moved to the United States when The Sunday Times appointed my Dad its New York and Washington bureau chief.
