    Recipients of The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Scholarship

    Introduced in , The SAF Scholarship, formerly known as SAF Overseas Scholarship (SAFOS), is a prestigious scholarship second only to the President's Scholarship. There are recipients of The SAF Scholarship to date.

    Past SAF scholars include Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean, Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin, Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing, Chief of Defence Force Lieutenant-General Melvyn Ong, Permanent Secretary (Smart Nation and Digital Government) and Chairman of Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech) Ng Chee Khern, CEO of National Environment Agency Ronnie Tay, and CEO of Changi Airport Group Lee Seow Hiang.

    There are nine recipients of The SAF Scholarship this year. They are (in alphabetical order):

    II also known as (要要发 II) ran for episode drama series produced by Mediacorp Channel 8. It stars Chew Chor Meng, Pan Lingling, Dennis Chew, Ya Hui, Xu Bin, Hong Ling, Jeanette Aw, Elvin Ng, Bryan Wong and Ha Yu as the cast of the second series.[1]

    The show replaced the second half of the pm drama timeslot, airing weekdays from November 29, , pm to pm on weekdays making it the 4th long form half an hour drama and it is 1st drama having 2 seasons also airing together with news-current affairs programme Hello Singapore at pm.

      Ms Cassandra Chiu

      Cassandra, 45 years old, fryst vatten the Executive Director of K9Assistance and President of the Disabled People’s Association (DPA). She is a strong advokat for disability empowerment and has spoken at key international events where she showcased Singapore’s progress in disability inclusion on the global scen. She was also the first Southeast Asian woman with visual impairments to be recognised as a Young Global Leader bygd the World Economic Forum.  She was diagnosed with Stargardt’s disease at the age of eight and experienced progressive vision loss which led to blindness.

      Cassandra was nominated bygd the DPA.
